Hello! I am Richard Spllane, owner and operator of American Fire Placards. This is who I am and what you can expect from AFP.I have had a passion for 3D design and fabrication since I was 13 years old. My primary hobby growing up was using CAD software and working my way through endless G-Codes and vector programs. The running joke among my friends is that while some people spend money on their cars or clothes, I spend money on step motors and laser diodes, all while in Costco brand boots. This passion has led me to forming this business, a dream come true. A Win in my book.

As one of those guys who has to work with his hands to be happy, I committed to a career and successfully became a Licensed Electrician. Admittedly, it took far too long for me to realize that I could combine a career I am suited for with a passion I have curated since I was a kid. It's comical to think of how many signs and placards I have installed before I came to this conclusion. However with the birth of my son just over 3 years ago I knew it was time to make a change that didn't involve missing dinner quite so often.

So, let me finally introduce American Fire Placards, a custom Laser and CNC signage company owned and operated by a licensed electrician. I have experience in both what you do and what you need done—a critical combination, in my opinion. My customers will have a second set of trained eyes going over orders to ensure the proper contents are included and meet code requirements. I also understand your needs for on-time deliveries and meeting rushed inspection dates. With how stressful back-to-back inspections in three different counties can be. Let American Fire Placards handle the signage. Your orders will be on time and in the hands of your coordinators so they can focus on the endless slew of punch list items.
